Seattle-based Pantone colorist Leatrice Eiseman recently led a team in choosing the optimistic “Tangerine Tango” as the 2012 color of the year. The hue is sure to reach racks of sweaters at H&M in the next few months, but will graphic designers follow the trend?

My new rainboots are close. More orange. This is a great color for a building or a belt but not for much else.

I think the color would be great as the fabric color for a beautiful hand made book by Paper Hammer or a cool t-shirt from Tieton Works.

Tangerine Tango - very Argentine! I would love to have a travel journal or photo album in this color. I hope Paper Hammer will follow this trend.
